Q2: What standard accessories come with the package (carrying case, eyepieces, etc.)?
A: It will come with everything you need to use the scope. Eyepiece, tripod, hand controls etc. - a carrying case however is an additional accessory.
Q3: What do you recommend for astrophotography with Celestron 11 CPC? What kind of CCD camera can we connect to it ?
A: The kind of imager to use with the 11-inch CPC telescope depends on your budget. The telescope will accept Meade's DSI, DSI Pro and DSI Pro II, as well as high-end CCD cameras by SBIG. A good, moderate-priced astrophotography solution is the DSI Pro.
Q4: Can you give me the carrying case dimensions for CPC 8 and CPC 11 please? I want to know if it can fit in my car trunk (BMW 545). I also want to know if I can check in the case at the airport (both the 8" and 11").
A: The Jim's Mobile case for the 8-inch CPC measures 31.75 x 17.25 x 23.25 inches. The case for the 11-inch CPC Optical Tube measures 36 x 21.25 x 19 inches.
